Although I’m all about growth mindset…I’m definitely team Nothing Learned (Do it! Do it! Do it!) Can’t wait for this week to start!
Nothing Learned team will have so much more fun, but the librarian in me that puts books in Dewey order has to go with Lesson Learned.

Oh man, I am having such an internal conflict. I want so badly to be a cool “nothing learned,” funny kid…but when I write, a “lesson learned” always seems to sneak in.
I think Nothing Learned is funny! So it’s Team Nothing Learned for me! I’m excited to learn this week, though—thank you, Brittany!
Hmmm … I think I will wait until the end of the week to determine my side, which probably means I’m leaning toward Nothing Learned!

I’m a mix of both. It deepens on the story.
I REEEAAALLY want to be on the “nothing learned” team because those are the funniest stories. But the rule follower in me says, “Lesson learned.” I’m looking forward to exploring these themes this week.

I’m team “nothing learned” all the way! I’m for stories that are experiences instead of lessons, and I think stories can still be meaningful without being moralistic.

I am a rule follower but I am solidly on team Nothing Learned, whhich makes sense to me.
Team Nothing Learned! One of my favorite manuscripts I’ve written has a character wanting all the spotlight and he will do anything to make that happened. In the end, he learned nothing and I love him for it! 🦌😂

It depends on the book! I think I’m team “they get theirs” essentially, so far my fiction books have a protagonist that gets got by another character and kind of deserves it.
OH, I’m MOST DEFINITELY TEAM NOTHING LEARNED! And so it seems not just in the realm of books, but in most (if not ALL!) of REAL life, TOO! :]

Wow, I’m surprised by the stampede of people signing up for Team Nothing Learned. Who knew picture book creators were such a rebellious lot? I’m definitely Team Lesson Learned in real life…but not always in my stories.
I’m equally surprised, Janet! Maybe the other Team Lesson Learned members are busy learning lessons. We’ll see where things shake out in a few days. 🙂
